From what I can read, it looks to be an effective cpu cooler. Reviews seems to be good on it. Not the best(compared to the highest-end coolers) I've seen but competitive, and effective. Pricing seems to be very reasonable for what you get imop also

i think most would say the tuniq tower or TRUE. also some say xigmatek s1283... i think maybe? but those should be it. pretty large coolers not sure if you have a size restriction. the xigmatek is pretty cheap in comparison to TT or true if i remember correctly

I agree with you, Tuniq Tower or Thermalright Ultra Extreme are tops in my book, but they are definitely larger than most, so I'd check to see if they'd fit in your case before you decided to go with one of those.

+1 for the xigmatek s1283. I recently installed mine and the idle temps dropped 14c compared to the stock Intel cooler. OCCT@1hr tops at 55c where as it would fail within 2 minutes on stock cooling. I find the fan nice and quiet as well. Perhaps the only drawback might be fitment in certain cases as it's rather tall measuring approximately 16.5cm from the base of the board to the tips of the heat pipes. Hope this helps.

OCZ has recently come out with with the Vendetta 2 which uses a 120mm fan (based on the Xigmatec S1283 design). It is not much better than the smaller Vendetta though.
