HD 3850AGP not working.

So...
I bought HD 3850AGP(club3d) and hooked it up. As i soon noticed my power supplier doesnt have the 6 pin wire for the card...:/ now i need a new powersupplier(uhh dno the right word)
What do i need to know when getting one...? The card needs one with 450W and 6 pin wire but my mobo is old (KV8 Pro 3-rd eye) so i have no idea to see if it supports 450W... and does powersupplier need any other specific wires?like special mobo wires or whatever... please help.
I'm active and refreshing this so ask anything you need to know.

What kind of powersupply do you have now? And as far as I know your mobo should be fine with a 450w Powersupply.

Not sure which one i have at the moment...all i know its too weak+it only has those old agp type gfx card supply wires
3850 wants a 6 pin power connector
Oh....and im not sure my mobo has the ddr3 support that 3850 needs...it should still start up right?
system req for the card:
Athlon copatible (i have amd athlon 64 3400+ so it shouldnt be a prob)
128MB of sys memory(i have 1,2k)
Mainboard with free agp 4x/8x slot(my current card is running at 8x)
High quality power supply 450watt(atx2.2) with 6 pin dedicated graphics power cable(mine has old wide graphics cable and i doubt its 450 watt...) .

What im really asking is what stuff i have to match when buying a new powersupply. I only know the gfx card and mobo max W atm.
----
Also...the 6 pin is Pci-e connector right? So i need a Pci-e connector for my AGP card?

Yea the connector is PCI-e. Im not sure what all you would need to match up for your powersupply connectors. Look for sATA power connectors if you want the for you hard drives.
