Is there a reason that you want to go SLI? I am of the school that would rather spend all the monney on nice card than split it in half and buy two ok cards.

two 9600gt's in SLI consistently overpower a single 8800GT. and with newegg having a rebate on the 9600gt... $220 for 9600x2 or $220 for a single 8800gt...

ofc any opinions are appreciated

Whats your problem with the Gemini 2? Mine works fine for the E3110 at 4.2Ghz

Here is an interested read for you guys.

I would recommend spending the extra cash to get the E4500 or just buy a used E6*** cpu from here, hardforum, or anandtech (all 3 forums are great places to find used hardware)

Cache size does matter

For gaming on a budget grab the E4500, I have no clue whats with the E4500 = poor overclock stuff but mine is sitting at it's new 3.6Ghz stable with safe temps on air, I can even do 3.7Ghz if I really wanted to. I seen alot of E4500 that clocked like crap and clocked like kings, same with the E2200/20/E2180/60/40.

Go for the E4500, the batch on mine is Q712A if thats any help.
