OCZ Vendetta 2 Review... - Page 3

Found it!

The web is full of people saying ZOMG don't do it, but this guy, he's brave:

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=179663

He claims that there isn't too much of a difference, and that one probably shouldn't do it.

yeah but, since that 120mm is kinda crappy - they never check CFM , i was wondering what it would do if you would put a Scythe Ninja 110 mm fan on the vendetta 2. It's 110 CFM.... yeah.

More info....

Benchmark Reviews did another individual review for the Vendetta2 and they say you can wet sand but to be careful:

"The large 8-gauge exposed copper heatpipes come ground down level with the mounting base. The finish is noticiably rough with a slight grain texture to it, but nothing worse than most coolers. The hardcore enthusiast can wet-sand the surface to a polished shine with very little effort, but I warn you to be careful because copper is considerably softer than aluminum or alloys."

So if you do sand, don't with it too hard guys!
