The very well could be if you are 11 amps under the requirement. I would suggest getting atleast a good 550watt PSU, but if you are going to get a new PSU the most important thing is to make sure you have enough amps on the 12V rail.

EDIT: nevermind on what I said your PSU had, I was looking at someone elses sig instead of yours...sorry.
Oh yeah I'm sorry forgot it has 2 rails on it haha. So PSU is out of the equation... hmm what could it be??

I was overclocking on XP before but now that I've got Vista I'll try overclocking on this OS. And if that doesn't work I'll try downgrading my bios perhaps. Bah I'm so baffled at this. I thought I would at least be able to do a small overclock on this card =/

What I would do (and did when I had my 8800gts 640Mb card) is look what there are out there for factory overclocked 8800gts 320mb and see what the gpu, mem and shader are on those cards. Then try to OC your card to that. Those numbers should work at the very least and you can at least tell if your card will OC at all. If that works, try going up from there.

Hey, yeah that is the card I just ordered as well. It didn't like being the second card in my SLI so I moved it up as my main card so that I could still overclock it in Rivatuner.

I have the other EVGA card..the AR-815 which is factory overclocked to 576/850/1376. The one you linked is stock at 513/793/1188. So once I made it my main, I went right into Rivatuner and changed the settings to 576/850/1376(to match the other one in SLI) and it runs like a champ.

Jesus...which one do you have the AR-815 or AR-811?

I see you use stock cooling as well...did you have to do anything different with voltages etc do achieve that?

Right now I am getting 10400 on 3DMark06 with a single card and 13900 with SLI.

The question I have now is how do you lock in the frequency of the second card in SLI or does it really run off of the first one's clock?

Generally speaking the key to getting great performance out of that card is to *not* run max texture sizes, usually dropping to medium will do the trick. Sometimes you have to mess with a game's config file, but you can almost always find a way to accomplish this if you need to in a given game. It generally doesn't affect the look of the game too much. The problem, obviously, lies in the amount of vram on the card.

My evga SC version used to handily do 675/999 without even touching the fan speed. Forget what the shaders were at, but they were *not* separated from the core clock, because rivatuner didn't do that back then.

If it were me running SLI (something I've never done) I would do my overclock via a bios flash so I wouldn't have to think about such matters
