Whats the best motherboard?

whats the best motherboard?

i currently have a gigabyte p35-ds3l but it just doesnt seem to overclock as good as some of the other boards i have seen

so what are your guys opinions?

perferably ddr2 with 45nm support. 2 pci-e for future sli with my 9800gx2 but one pci-e slot is fine if its a very good mobo

If you want to run SLI you need to get a 780i chipset. That means your best bet is either the EVGA or XFX 780i board. Intel's P35 and X38 chipsets are better but do not support SLI.

If your only wanting a single 9800GX2, a P35 board should do you fine. Your DS3L is an EXCELLENT overclocker. Be happy with it.

really?

i honestly cant get my cpu stable above 410fsb on vista

might be your cpu problem. im in vista and i can up my fsb to 505 and only +.1v on the gmch and fsb on the p35,ds3l

780i is not the only option now there is the new 750i which suppports sli but no tri-sli, but fr some that aint a bad thing
