Yes, likely I will look more into that later, when I see directX10 even more in demand (it's true that directX10 is Vista only?) and when the second mini round of upgrades comes along for this board.

And yeah, then I will get a couple more RAM, a couple HDs for raid, and a second vid card.

I've started to look for help on a general 750i FTW overclocking thread, I am fine and great and stable (and happy with my gaming, completely) at 400 FSB but am wondering why I am stuck there.

This is just a bit of an update for anyone that stumbles into this thread, or remembers when I was working on putting this rig together. Yeah, after a few weeks of using it, I am happy with this purchase, a bit worried that the RAM might be what's slowing my OC progress, but everything has been very cool.

I would suggest the 8800gt for anyone with 200 bucks to spend on a card.
I would suggest the 750i FTW mobo to anyone who wants 16x + 16x SLI, and wants a bit of OCing.
The Corsair PSU 650W has been solid.
Aside from some temp display problems (getting sorted now) the e3110 has been great, I feel like I have one of the 'cool' e8400s here, and got it for a bit less too. The stock cooling had been adequate for my overclock, but will need alternative cooling if I go much higher.

I HATE THAT I GOT TWO MAIL IN REBATES, THEY SUCK.
btw: CoD4 kicks ass.
So does BioShock.
And Assassin's Creed and The Witcher are cool.

FSB hole maybe? It might also be your RAM.
