New build computer won't boot or beep. - Page 6

I boot it up with the mobo outside the case, and only with CPU, 1 stick of the new RAM, and video card. It boot up and say system disk fail, insert system disk and press enter.

I shut it down, put everything back into the case. Now it won't boot up nor have power. It will try to power up, then shut down in second. However, if I unplug the 4 pins power near the CPU, it will have power, but won't post.

There's no unuse spacer on the bottom of the mobo, and all 6 screws on the mobo are not loose.

So what is the problem now?

PS: Have not change the voltage setting for the RAM yet, still using the new RAM with v1.8.

EDIT: I took, mobo out of the case again, and try it again with only CPU, RAM and video card. But this time for whatever reason, I turn it on, and it shut off immediately, if I unplug the 4 pins power near the CPU, it will have power but won't post. It's the same thing that happened as I have mention above. I don't know what I did wrong, it boot up once before.

Does anyone know why? Please help!

Ok, the power goes like this. When I press the power button on my case, it start up for like 1 second and turn off immediately, after like 2 seconds, it will power on again for like 1 second and turn off immediately, repeating the cycle.

Got it fixed. I have to take out the battery to clear the CMOS, for it to have power again. Score 13374 on 3DMark06. Overclocking to 2800Mhz so far.

Glad you got it running! Just watch your voltage on that thing, the new CPUs hate voltage.
