ATI Catalyst in ubuntu help

Thread Starter
I followed the guide here, but at the post-installation check (in the guide), it seemed that either the ATI driver did not install, or was not being loaded on boot. Can someone help me out?

This was on a freshly installed, fully updated Ubuntu Gutsy.

Just download Envy It downloads installs, and install the dependencies required for the nvidia driver (if you have an nvidia card) or the ATi driver (if you have an ATi card) Be aware though, this installs the proprietary driver, and not the open source driver.
