disable nic then enable - Page 3

I have attatched a BASIC version, It still need prettyfying. It has been cobbled together from source code on the net.
I'm not responsible for any negative effect it has on your PC. It works faultlessly on my PC, but the worst that can happen is your PC will freeze and need to be turned off and on again - I'm VERY sure that won't happen.
The DOS window will stay open until it has finished pinging to confirm a connection is present.
Yet again, ignore the 'devcon.exe' file.
Hope it works
This will only work for endo, unless you change the device id in the 'restart.bat' file. It will also probably not work on your other PC.
Attatchment Removed...Please see post #26 for newer better version.

Did you manage to test out the zipped .bat file I attatched above? If you want I can also tell you what to edit so it works on your home server if you like.

Hi,
I have finished v0.2 of the script. It all looks much nicer and works more efficiently.
I have included a .doc readme that should explain the process. All you have to do is follow the steps there and you should be fine. The 'device Id tool.zip' is no longer needed - the hardware Id can esily be found in device manager.
Provided the file is edited correctly anybody should be able to use it now.
If you have any problems, just PM me.
The readme has made the .zip pretty chunky now at 2.5mb. Please find the .Zip attatched. It is also available here
