Did you apply too much thermal paste? Is that y your temps seem high?

I will probably have to reseat the thing and check the paste. That heatsink is so enormous I cant even use the pull-out tray from the extra deep chassis... what a pain.

The temps may be due to the fact that the case is so large the 2 large chassis fans are not creating a stream of airflow, but a whirlwind effect. Sigh I need a physics degree or something. Still, the heatsink fan is pointed directly out the back, so that would only add to ambient temperature in the case. But I don't have any more slots in the chassis for fans... How would I create a direct airflow? PCI slot fans are usually too weak. Anyone know any good products?
