Just run instances of regular console off of a flash drive and remember to assigned each instance to a different machine id

Well, havent heard from the OP, but i can confirm this works with the regular console client. Had 2 instances going at home on my dual core Opteron, zipped them up and sent them to myself at work, unzipped and they started up no problems on a dual core Intel.
