Gigabyte P35 help please

Thread Starter
I just got all my parts today and while I was changing some settings in the BIOS, the whole computer turns off. I turn it back on, and after about 5 seconds it turns off again.

I'm at work so I can't do anything to it right now. But what do you think it is? Motherboard is GA-EP35-DS4, processor is E8400, RAM is 2x1gb Ballistix Tracer DDR2 800.

I'm thinking maybe the RAM are in the wrong slots? They are in slots 1 and 3 (yellow slots). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe you set something wrong in BIOS. You need to reset CMOS. Consult your motherboard manual.
Usually it involves removing the battery and moving a jumper for a while, moving the jumper back, putting the battery back in and powering up again.
