I score higher in 3dmark06 under VISTA than I do XP at the same settings. And it's not because of the extra gpu. Of course I've disabled that when trying to compare the two. And actually I'm pretty sure there was an actual review just to answer this very question that showed Vista getting better performance.

Only crossfireX and tri/quad SLI make Vista better, if not that, then XP is faster.

I get higher scores in benchmarking and most games with a tweaked vista than a tweaked XP, and the gap between them is getting bigger each month.
