Thread Starter
Im a little confused as i would like to know which one of the performance mode is the best.

Single-Gpu
Force Split Frame Rendering
Force Alternate Frame Rendering
Force Alternate Frame Rendering 2

I Apologise if this has been asked before.

Also what is the best for Multi Display/Mixed-GPU Acceleration

Single Display Performance
Compatibility Performance
Multi Display Performance

Thanks in advanced

I've been wondering this too, so I'm in the process of seeing what combination of these works best in Crysis. I'll try to post to what I find as the best setting for it, but it probably differs from system to system and different games.

8800 GT, not technically the best, but probably one of the best cards to buy if your thinking of SLI.

Well, thats a really broad question honestly. It will vary from game to game, but your best bet is to use AFR in single display performance mode.

He's asking which mode is the best mode to run SLI... not which card

It depends what you consider 'best' (best image quality, or highest FPS), and it depends on the game. Just tinker with it and see what you get.

Regarding multi-displays, note that SLI only works with a single display. Thus, single display performance will give you the highest FPS.

I use AFR, there's a HUGE difference over using SSR.

In terms of FPS or in terms of image quality?
