What type of memory does the Core 2 Quad Q9300 Need?

I am going to buy a Q9300 but I am not sure of the type of memory would be best for this CPU.

I am planing to use it with a ASUS P5K PRO MB, and the memory that I can afford are the OCZ Gold 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) and the CORSAIR Dominator 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)

What do you recommend for best performance?

For best performance, I would recommend the Dominators over the OCZ, unless you want to run Vista x64, in which case the 4gig would be nice.

Second to CORSAIR Dominator in your list especially with this 7.5x cpu. I am sure many 6400 ram can OC to 1000MHz but get 1066 in this case.

Cool!
So I guess I will go with the Corsair Dominator.
