HD 3870 problem?

Thread Starter
hey there, i just recently got a HD 3870 running at (856) (2394)
now the main reason i got this card was becuase all of the videos on youtube post it running crysis at high with around 25-30 fps. But the thing with mine is that no matter what setting i use, low, medium, high, ultra high, i only get around 10-15 fps. even on low.

this makes no sense to me, my computer cant be that bad can it?
i think it might be a driver problem, right now im running Catalyst 8.3 on Vista x64

Reinstall drivers? Also your avatar is inappropriate. I would change it.

A phenom 9500 isn't the best for gaming but Im pretty sure its not CPU bound. He should get more than 15 fps on low.

Try the dx9 version in xp. Do you notice a difference between dx9 or dx10 performance?
