A8N32-SLI Dead?

Thread Starter
I've had this board for a while, but went to Intel about 8 months ago and haven't used it in a while. I thought I'd make sure it worked and sell it. I hooked everything up including the 4 pin power connector and molex plug.
When I try starting it up the mobo light comes on, the CPU fan spins for a second and stops and then nothing. I'm using OCZ RAM that worked when I used the board last, but I have no other board to test it with. Antec 500w PSU works fine, GPU is a PNY 7600GS that I also tested and works fine. Am I missing something?
This board worked great for me for 6 months or so, but has been sitting in it's anti-static bag for a while. What do you think, Is it dead?

Weird thing that has come to mind that you might try is to make sure the CPU fan is plugged into the correct (CPU Fan) header. The board may fail to fire if the HSF is plugged into anything other than the CPU Fan header.

Other possibilities: Are all the jumpers on the board placed correctly? Is the CMOS battery dead, maybe? Have you tried resetting CMOS, just for laughs?

These are all shots in the dark, but at this point there's no harm in trying any of these.

Hope this helps!
