so i sent my computer through fedex a while back..
and i guess they through it around or something..
when i got it the graphics card was laying on the
bottom of the case.. my brother not knowing about
static, picked it up and put it back in.. now when i try
to start it, all the fans come on but nothing shows up
on the monitor.

so im 99% sure its the graphics card.. i was
wondering if anyone thought it was something else..

i dont have the computer with me atm so i cant switch
cards to see if it will boot.. i wont get it for probably a week or so

+rep if you can help

From what i can make out of your post you sent your computer through the mail and your grsphics card ended up on the bottom onf the case? Did it crack off?

Its possible, but i doubt static broke your graphics card. Once you get the pc try leaving the motherboard battery out for 10 minutes and reboot. That should reset the BiOs. Might help ya out.

I took out my gfx's card yesterday and the same thing happened, heard a static pop and no pic on the monitor. I took out the bios battery like DarkNite suggest wait a few mementos and everything booted up fine.

You just kind of pry it out with a fingernail or something. Its possible that your psu is shorting. Check the unused wires and whether they are in contact with metal
And then

You've to pop it out gently, a kinda pulling and prying motion.
