Just got an email-promo from Newegg like most of you probably. They have this 3d monitor that I've never heard of before. Link

Expensive, wonder if it's worth it?

Wow, it comes with special "passive polarized" glasses (2 regular pair, and 1 clip-on). It's only compatible with "supported" games, but it sounds to me like it would be worth it if somebody is that serious of a gamer.

This makes me wonder what they'll come out with next...

But if I were going to buy it, I'd rather wait until it's been out for a few quarters.

Zalman has a 3D monitor as well. I heard the effect is pretty decent but haven't tried it myself.
Once again...

Seems pretty new to just up and spend that kind of money on a monitor. I'm gonna sit back and wait, see what happens. Granted if it worked the way everyone would imagine, it would be awesome, but I see it almost as if it were in beta.

Same as you guys. I'll wait to see some expert and customer reviews first, then maybe I'll pick one up. Still though that's a lot of dough.
