The review doesnt say much. It just says that the X Fi is better due to some driver problems, but if you work it out, which is better? We need a more definite review.

probably should have found that out before you bought it

but my money is on the X-fi. though i admit i've never heard a razer

I heard the razer is better for music but the x-fi is for games, unless you got their headphones also then it'll be competing with it.

There are solutions for the driver problem, just use the 2.22b driver that MNiceguy posted in his thread. I find the drivers to be working fine on Vista 32bit on my secondary rig, and it is the same driver for Vista x64. Sound quality is pretty good, not as good as my X-Meridian but still better than an X-Fi.

Their headphones are junk.

From what I've heard, they're about on par for music and the X-Fi is better for gaming. A lot of the negative stigma with the AC-1 is its ridiculous price. It's not a horrible card, just not worth anywhere near w hat they charge for it.
