Go see for yourself.. http://processorfinder.intel.com/det...px?sSpec=SLA8Z

The only non E6xxx processor thats a G0 is the E4700. Probably just a bug in CPU-Z.
Yep.

I'm sitting here waiting for it to pull up on Intel.com but it's taking it's sweet time. My hunch is that it's a Photoshopped picture as well.

Besides, Intel doesn't use the same sSpec number when a new revision is released. They issue a new one.

No!!
CPU-Z really detects it as G0 stepping!!
Tj Temp is 100ºC!
VID is 1.35V

None M0 or L2 I've seen have these characteristics

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!

It's the second E2160 I see (I saw one in Adrenaline Forums) and this one.

IT's REALLY G0!

I'm posting ss right now, no photoshop
I'll save it with compression 12 to prove it wasn't edited in any way.

If it's not a PS job it's a misread. Run it through Everest, Crystal CPUID, etc to see if it's a chip misread or just an application misread.

I'm not saying it's impossible but it certainly isn't probable.

Can someone link to the somewhere on Intel's site that shows the CPU with G0 revision? The reason I ask goes back to my point where Intel does -not- reuse sSpec numbers when chip information is changed. Simply look at the two E2160's currently available for the Q6600 for example.

Looks like a rare mis-programmed chip you got there.. I wonder how it mistakenly got programmed as a G0 lol..

Good; a "G0" stepping means that it has nice overclocking potential because it can run on lower voltage than most other "normal" overclocks where increased voltage is involved.

that's not always the case though. I've seen B3's run cooler and on less volts than what I use; though it's generally the case that the G0's are better on the whole.
