* A second GeForce 8800 GT installed on this system requires you to have a 500 Watt power supply unit at minimum if you use it in a high-end system. That power supply needs to have (in total) at least 36 Amps available on the 12 volts rails.

so did my PSU meet that requirements?
Your PSU has dual 12V rails at 18A a piece, barely making the cut of what is described above from Guru3D. You may be alright, but if you do some overclocking and/or are experiencing problems, you may want to look into getting another PSU with more power.

As others have said, it will work but you'd very likely be pushing the limit on your PSU. Plus it wouldn't give you a whole lot (if any) headroom for future upgrades. Both PSU's Mootsfox suggested in post # 10 are excellent alternatives.

EDIT: I own the PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750 and I personally love it. I've had it for about a year -- maybe longer -- and have never had an issue with it.
