Looks like evga did pretty good on these drivers, I kept my same overclock %'s so far (haven't tried to re-clock since the new drivers)

Before the upgrade I was Benching 12558 Points on 3dmark06
After The upgrade I benched 13971

I just came across them earlier today. Guru3d usually one of the 1st to have leaked drivers. Too early to try them for me.

Actually, first appeared on station-drivers this morning(PST) and dated 3-29-2008. Not much difference from Beta 174.74.

I may go back to tweakforce .74 as those are really good for me.

I'm talking about the solid non beta ones from EVGA, not Nvidias brand of drivers =P, Donno if that makes a difference in the new-ness.

Was having trouble finding drivers compatible with the new GTS 640's

And yes, I Benched Directly before installing them, 15558 was my previous score after installs I got 13197, I did nothing else, didn't change my overclocks, voltages, speeds etc.

174.74 or 174.70 from Tweakforce is the best for 8800 cards IMHO. EVGA uses the generic NVIDIA driver even if a newer driver exists.
