Sorry To Hear It,I know How that is,I guess it will give you some time to decide and do more researching.Good Luck.
I just must be lucky with Asus,I know some people have better luck with different boards(Kinda strange)but whatever works is good.
I like Evga and xfx boards too..
They are a good choice

I shouldnt say that I dont like ASUS, maybe its that I dont like nForce 570a, when I had 1 card my board worked flawlessly, and overclocks my 6400+ BE like a champ, but its SLI support = crap lol

Maybe with a Intel(socket 775)you wouldn't have that problem..I have had 3 different SLI's with asus 680i and now 780i boards...,But I would go with you're decision about Evga(good board)

My ASUS p5k is awesome, max fsb of 524, only rma once because i screwed up bios update flash XD. Makes me regret not buying the e6750 that was 20 bucks more.

Really though, i think you'll be better off swapping a phenom when AMD realeases the 45nm version or when they release some higher clocks.

I was gonna swap it for the Phenom 9850 BE... but sublime got his Phenom 9600 and the same board I do as well as SLI and it still doesnt SLI right lol, its not the processor, its the boards SLI support
