Vista page file size with 4 GB RAM - Page 2

Well, it looks like I'll just keep it at the default(?) 4 GB size. I have the pagefile on my backup harddrive so it won't make much of a difference with it on and off.

I'm using a 32 bit (yes typo on x86) so only 3581 MB is seen. That's no problem. It doesn't even get to the 2 GB range unless I'm using Photoshop.

I'm on 64 Bit Vista and had 4GB. I let Vista manage it on its own and it was fine.

I had it set with no pagefile for a while and it started crashing with firefox (around 15 tabs), outlook, various other background programs and Google Earth running. Google Earth uses a NICE amount of system memory.

Now that I'm at 8GB of Ram though....it's completely disabled.
