[Engadget] ASUS Eee PC overclocking looks surprisingly easy - Page 2

I don't follow... why would it be sarcasm? Granted i can only play small maps like iceworld, its all running in dx7 with everything on low... but its still playable and i get about 15fps at the lowest, and 45fps at the highest.

1.6 runs great though... cs:s runs but obviously not as nicely as i'd like. but it works and is playable enough when im on the go.

C.S. 1.6 can run on anything man

Even my crappy school computers with integrated intel extreme graphics (Yes, the crappy stuff before GMA), 900mhz celerons and 512mb SDRAM.

The EEE already has enough of a crappy battery life...

I'd pay money to UNDERclock my own laptop. I wish it were locked at its lowest multi.

I leave it at the stock 630MHz unless something takes too long. Then I up it to 900MHz. Anyways, I have Kubuntu 7.10 on it, rather than Windows, so I don't use it for games. That would be so horrible, lol. I use it for programming and connecting to my home and/or school computers from anywhere.

Since near 4 hours is bad and all.... You obviously don't know much about laptops. *shrugs* Most laptops get 2~ hrs battery unless an extended battery is added.

We'll overclock anything I guess.
That's because these days OCing isn't hard anymore. Anyone can do it. It's been quite a while since the days of the struggling OCs of the Pentium 4.
