Anyone has having problems with strange video artifacts problems on their 780i motherboard? Normally this would sound like a video card problem, but there are some evidence that it's either a chipset driver problem or a problem with the motherboard itself. There are several threads over at the eVGA forum with people having the exact same issue I'm experiencing.

Except, unlike other people reporting the problem, I can almost recreate this problem at will. Funny thing is I can watch a 2 hour Superbit version of Fifth Element without any problems, but 2 clips into watching a Youtube clip at full screen and I get the horizontal rainbow artifacts. When I go to minimize the screen, everything looks okay, but I still have the artifacts around the mouse. Then I would hit the Start button to reset and my computer freezes. This happens EVERYTIME.

Anyone on this forum experience this problem on their 780i? I'm trying to get some discussion started and see if anyone came up with a solution.

Thanks,

Tae
