I have everything for my computer but I lack a monitor... I play my games at about 1280x1024 with my 8800gt if that makes a difference but for a week now i've been looking at both of theese monitors

Samsung 226B 22"
http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/Searc...rchSection=All

&

HP w2207 22"
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...9&Sku=H25-2200

I was leaning towards the 226bw where I have heard that it is a really good gaming monitor but I came across the HP and seen that it had good reviews but i'm really iffy on which to get now...any suggestions would be awesome

thankk youuuu : )

Well at that price the panels on the hp monitors are made by samsung (at least that's what samsung's rep told me) so it's a decent monitor, but it's so freakin glossy it gives me headaches if i look at it for too long, so unless you're gonna have it in a dark room, i'd say samsung.

I believe you can get the 226bw for $249 at newegg.com. The HP I think has the glossy screen which will glare in brighter rooms. My dad's laptop is an HP and I'm not a fan of the glossy screen. As I type, I can see my reflection.

Yeah and although and black trim around the HP really does draw ME in. I'm not too big of a fan on that whole glossyness, that's mainly why I was leaning towards the Samsung

ahhh Noobdown, that monitor IS nice but it's only 20" and I am looking at a 22-24 for about the same price if that is even possible...lol ; )

Go for the Samsung
As other said, glossy screens get quite annoying. Plus Samsung's are awesome.
