HELP: High temps with Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme

I'm using the Q6600 GO with the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme at stock speeds and i'm getting 44-39-33-30 on idle and 66-63-51-47 on load

Is the fan blowing the air towards the front of the case?

Also, I strongly encourage you to clean up your cables.

Here's an example of what's possible:















If you do this, your temps should drop a few degrees. The less unnecessary stuff, the better.

What is your cpu at right now? stock or overclocked?

Hmm Reseat the Heatsink dude I get those temps with my Q6600 GO on stock cooler lol

well nevermind it loads at 60c
and its in a closed Cupboard

You'll probably have to lap both surfaces, as they're likely not matching up very well. It's a known fact, but the reward of lapping both far outweighs the risks.

See sig for TRUE lapping fun. Dropped temps by loads, like 10 - 15C. But like others have said, are you sure your fans are pointing through the TRUE, and out the rear? Are those panaflos?
