When will faster internet speeds become cheaper?

Thread Starter
I don't think our internet speed has improved much in the past several years. I mean HD video is available now but (for me anyways) streaming HD videos would stop and load every several seconds.

Are there any news or articles anyone would like to share about the next step in improving our line speeds?

You just have to have the right infrastructure for huge bandwidths. You always see how countries like Sweden and South Korea have the fastest internet. I hate how fellow countrymen bash the U.S. saying we're going downhill because we don't have as good of speeds across the board. Well it is a hell of lot easier to put in fiber optic cable across a tiny country like Sweden than it is a huge country like the U.S. or Canada. We also have our people spread out more which makes it tougher as well. I don't think you will ever see North America compete for fastest internet speeds in the world on a wired infrastructure. Once they open up all this spectrum from the former analog TV stations, then you'll see wireless quickly become the delivery method of choice.
