This SLI is done differently than 2 separate cards. Having 2 separate cards on one motherboard will handle much differently than a single-slot card.

Is a new card really that much to ask for? At this rate intel just might be able to catch up. I just don't understand how they are going to release a 9900 series right after they released the 9800. I wonder what ATI is doing. All fanboyism aside this is really getting old.

The only way I can justify this is getting more money out of people who happen to not keep up on things. Back with the 9800 I kept saying to everyone to just wait to see the benchmarks before we judge. I was let down and I've been debating if it's even worth the 100 dollars to step up to the 9800GTX.

In all truth this is good for us I suppose. It pushes the price of the 8800GT's even further.
