Confused about 2 things [ gaming build ] !!

Hi, this is my first gaming build and i would like your opinions of my specifications.
this list of the gaming build part, i'm really confused about the motherboard and which mobo is the best for this specs.

Case: Gigabyte 3D Aurora
PSU: Rosewill RP550-2
Motherboard: [ GA-EP35-DS4 ] or [ GA-EP35C-DS3R ]
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme
RAM: G.Skill 4GB (2 x 2GB)
H.D.D: I'm really confused about the hard disk I don't know what i have to choose
Graphic Card: GeForce 8600GT 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 ( I have it already )

Which mobo i have to choose it now ??

The GA-P35C-DS3R has support for both DDR2 and DDR3 RAM, but I wouldn't worry about that and stick with DDR2 for now, DDR3 is very expensive but will probably drop to a reasonable level by next year. The GA-P35-DS4 has a new cooling solution for the northbridge, southbridge and PWM i believe. You may want to consider looking up reviews for each motherboard to see whether there is any difference there. Sorry if I'm a bit vague in the differences between these two motherboards, I literally just looked them up to and skimmed to see what their differences are in the specs. I'll keep reading and keep you posted.

Also are you planning on overclocking by any chance? Because if you aren't I don't think you should buy the TRUE (You could buy a cooler thats cheaper but would perform just as well). However, if you are I recommend you switch from that Geil ram to Crucial Ballisitix, and I also recommened you get a decent powersupply! Rosewills are notorious for being very low quality. Instead I'd recommend a powersupply from any of these manufacturers: Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power & Cooling, Silverstone, Enermax, Thermaltake TOUGHPOWER line. There are more good PSU brands out there, those are just the few that i could name off of the top of my head.

Also check out jonnyguru.com for detailed analysis and reviews on powersupplies!

Thanks man finally someone advised me.
before i post this thread i posted another thread and i chooses Crucial Ballistix Tracer 2GB ram but someone who told me the G.skill is better than the Crucial Ballistix Tracer than he told me this power supply he said it's good. BTW you mean i stick with GA-EP35-DS4 because has better cooling solution.I will search for a good PSU and tell you.I forget to tell you i'm soo exciting to overclock by any chance like you said !!

Off hand I'd say go with the Corsair, since it is made by Seasonic who are a very good manufacturer. HOWEVER, I would strongly recommend checking for a review of it on Jonnyguru.com. That website covers pretty much every current power supply released.

And as for memory, I've been told that the Crucial Ballasitix overclock a lot further and are the best out there right now. The only difference between regular Ballistix and Tracers are that the Tracers have pretty lights.

For now I'd stick with the DS4 version of that motherboard, but might i recommened my motherboard, the Abit IP35 Pro, which is an excellent motherboard with very overclocker friendly software (although everyone on this forum recommends you do it through the bios). Many consider it the best P35 board around at the moment.

If you're building this for gaming, I would ditch the Q6600. You don't need any more than 2 corese for gaming. I would also highly recommend getting an 8800GT or an 9600GT instead of the 8600.
