thats all you need! Until I had the machine I had now, Vista sucked... but now that I can run it, its sooo much faster than XP!

Its so funny how people forget the past. It was the exact same way when XP came out.. "oh no! We want to keep windows 98." -- I used 98 instead of mediacenter or whatever it was, cuz that DID suck! lol

XP also seems more responsive than Vista if you're using Aero.
When Aero has to turn off because of programs like DGIndex, it really feels much faster. The entire animation thing makes it feel less snappy, because, well, it is less snappy.

Funny thing is actual performance is not degraded (much?) and yet people still whine about this.
