Ahh great question, I called a sales rep before I made the purchase, and confirmed the Box # of the SLACR model. BX80562Q6600 is the box order code for the GO stepping Q6600 http://processorfinder.intel.com/det...px?sspec=slacr. I made sure that the rep read me that Box order number without having to tell him what I was looking for.

BURNS.....

One thing I just noticed - Your system components list a T1 version of the 680i mobo. I'm only assuming here, but if you plan on using this board for the new CPU, make sure you have at least the NF68 version and not...NOT...the NF63, LT SLI, or SE SLI versions of this build. IT WILL NOT OVERCLOCK A QUAD CORE PAST 2.8GHz or so.

I made this mistake and I can't keep her stable past 2.75GHz. I'll just have to wait till I have the extra cash for the NF68 or a 780i board.

If you do have this version....definately get the 8400.
