I think it's safe as long as it's 1.36v or less in CPU-Z

My Q6600 @ 3.4Gz Prime95 load at 65C. Your Q9450 should generate considerably less heat. You probably should re-seat your CPU cooler.

What's everyone's CPU voltage for 3.4? I can't get it to run stable at 3.4 with 1.26250 voltage. Have already raised the voltage 3 time.

holysht.. you need to turn the "line calibration" options on in the BIOS.. your drooping .15v!! My guess is with the vdroop gone, you will actually be able to lower the stable vcore..because it will not drop on load.

load line calibration IS on it's something with these cpu's it seems.

Hmm..well I am running a X3350 on a X48 Rampage, and having no issues like that. That is strange indeed.
it's just a little over .05 volts which isn't too bad. but I have noticed with the e6600 that I had before 1.55bios = 1.50 without loadline. but 1.5125v=1.50v with load line.
with the quad it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference with or without loadline calibration.
