Q9450 overclocked! - Page 14

Thread Starter
I think my ram is bad. I'm thinking about getting the G.Skill 2gbx2 ddr1000. Think this can help me overclock higher?

Anyone using a GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L rev 2.0 with the 9450? If so can you give me hints how you are overclocking it (with BIOS details). I have the latest F8f bios, can't overclock well so far on my little hackintosh OSX 10.5.2 system... hints and tips greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My CPU voltage won't get pass 1.20 in CPU-Z what the hell? No matter how many time I increase the voltage in the bios. Everytime when the CPU is loaded, the voltage will lower down to 1.20.

What's going on?

its called "vdroop".

Voltage is drooping on load. Increase the vcore more to overcome the margin of loss.

I know. What I'm saying is. No matter how many voltage I increase, it will always drop to 1.20 when CPU is load.
