Stick with the Corsair 550VX, it's the best PSU for your computer. Don't cheap out on a good quality PSU, I've seen RoseWill PSUs destroy computers. CM and RaidMax aren't that much better. Ultra still has a ways to go to get better.

i agree if u get the corsair now you wont have to upgrade later, and if u dont want modular cables that PSU is a killer for the price.

as for the case the centurion 5 its a very fugly case. for 55 get a case with a side window atleast to show off that sexy orange dfi board. like this beautiful one for $59 ($39 after MIR) Thermaltake SopranoRS

or RAIDMAX ARES for $50 ($35 after MIR)

theyr cheap and look what a gaming rig should look like unlike the centurion5 wich looks like an old lady's comp.

im going to stick with the antec 900 case, and im going to buy myself a nice solid psu. i really didnt mind the simplicity of the centurion. just because if someone sees that they are like wow your comp prob sucks, THEN BAM its quick as lightning lol

I mean 8 pin motherboard power Connector.
GREAT psu but only a 4 pin is on that.
can't you just plug in 2 of the 4 pin power connectors? Btw, I have no idea aobut that PSU/MB, but my AMD board will let me plug in 2 4 pin power connectors. it actually came with one of them coverd up, i guess 1 one be fore dual core proccessor, and 2 would be for the 4/phenoms?

Now that's actually a good question. LOL. should I unplug one of the 4 pin connectors? - - Time to make a new post.

I'm surprised your board is still functioning...

Checks the amperage on the 3.3v and 5v rails. Also check that it has a 20+4/24pin connector, at 20pin is the older version which you can't use anymore.
