The thing that I noticed the most was just the detail in the trees. I think the trees in Oblivion, even with the environment mods, still are a little - for lack of a better word - clunkier; they have big leaves and they seem much more artificial. I dunno, its just my opinion...

Another CryEngine 2 showoff?

Most of that video was no different from Oblivion that had open cities mod.
Oblivion has trees improving mod, but you can import anything and everything to CryEngine 2 Sandbox editor.
Maybe HD video could make a difference.

I agree that the trees do look a bit better and the HDR lighting is a tad better with the CryEngine2.

Now the real question is... Can we chop down trees?

so can i use my ax to chop down trees to collect wood?

looks good, but would be too much work to do the entire game. the texture mods are good enough
