Question regarding Air in the Lines.

Thread Starter
Is it okay to have air bubbles in a Loop?

I think it's something like a Tt BigWater. I see a res but no rad, it has a Q6600 and dual 8800GT's on it. There is more air than water. what water there is froths up a lot and trickles slowly through the system. This is a computer that a Locum doctor brought in to use, his "PC Guy" assures me that air being in the line is fine and that 60Cº at idle is also "Okay"

Am I losing my mind here or is this guy smoking crack?

sounds like it needs topping up. air in a loop means, its either evaperated over time, theres a leak be it air or fluid.
is it the thermaltake fluid in there, yellowy green stuff. if so. i sugest he buys some more and top it up. better still. drain it and start fresh.
if it is a bigwater kit. there should be some instructions on how to strip it down online,or just to top up.

Top that reservoir off with some distilled water soon before loosing all of that expensive hardware!

What's the cooling loop order of components? Can you post a picture of the loop?

Is the pump being starved for fluid so the coolant isn't flow well?
