Laptop crashed

Thread Starter
My girlfriend was doing homework on her Dell laptop that she's had for about 2 years. She had it plugged into the wall trying to charge her battery, but the computer wouldn't recognize that it was plugged it. It then turned off and won't come back on. I tried disconnecting the battery then plugging it back in but when I pushed the power button it didn't do anything. Any help would be appreciated.
