I'm really new to hard configuration, and im fed up of using a low end pc and im going to buy a new computer at a budget and after reading so much about the hardwares prices in the markets here i built an idea and i want to know your opinions and what am i lacking :

Note: the prices of these items in the market are higher than in states and europe

Processor: Core 2 Duo E4500

Motherboard: Intel P35 - Gigabyte P35C-DS3R

Memory: Dual DDR2-800 - 2x 1024 MB DDR2-800

Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT 512 (but which Manufacturer should i go for, Gigabyte, XfX?)

Case : gigabyte

1.First Question : would these items runs appropriately in running games such crysis and so on .

2.second question : im not really sure wut is a cooler but im hearing alot and i would apreciate some1 giving me an idea of why i need it and what should i be looking for.

sounds good. could you be a bit more specific on the ram?

oh, and it doesn't really matter which manufacturer you choose - just go for one that has a bundle / warranty you like. Nice to see a Sudanese brother on the forums - i'm from southern Africa myself

Personally, if you're tired of Low-End, I would recommend a higher end CPU, unless you're really gonna OC' that baby!

The video card is a good choice though!

Not a bad system, in my opinion XFX GPUs are the best, I am running 2 XFX 8800GTXs Sli at the moment and I love them!

A lot of midi towers have a gap where the GFX Card would extend due to their layout, so i can't really see the case being an issue a 500/600W PSU will do you fine

With that setup, u r gonna be ok man, just make sure u get an ATX case with enough size and a good airflow (if in the future u wanna change to a kickass GPU like the 9800GX2, u will have space). I case that u r gonna overclock ur CPU, I would reccomend the ZeroTHERM Nirvana NV120 CPU cooler

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...7011&Tpk=nv120

It's cheap, powerful and it will keep ur cpu very cold. And speaking of CPU's, i would reccomend u to get a Q6600. It costs about $250 dollars and if u overclock it to 3.2GHZ, it's gonna fly.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115017

For the RAM I would go for the Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory, it costs about $60 in newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146565

I would get the XFX 8800GT xxx edition, it's factory overclocked and it has a better cooling system, besides, it costs about $250.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150254

Maybe one single 500GB hard drive will eb enough for u. If u want to, u can get 2 500GB hard drives to get 1TB, but i don't think u will need that much.

One more thing, with that setup u r building, i would recocmend at least a 650W power supply unit. Visit www.newegg.com and check the power supply units they have.

So, this is the stup I would reccomend u, and it's not very expensive

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 $249.00
ZEROtherm Nirvana NV120 $50.00
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) $61.00
GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R LGA 775 $90.00
XFX PVT88PYDD4 GeForce 8800GT XXX 512MB $248.00
RAIDMAX AZTEC ATX-619WBP Black $85.00
Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB SATA $90.00
COOLER MASTER RS-650-ACAA-A1 ATX 650W PSU $130.00

Total: $1003.00 dollars

Check on newegg the components u r gonna buy.

That's a good build, but you're using the wrong components.

The RAM you linked has been having massive problems recently, people are reporting as high as 1 in 3 failure rates. It is caused by a change in how they manufacture the RAM, but I'm not going into details.

Why buy the boxed version of the Q6600 that includes a stock fan, when you go out and buy another one? Get the OEM version, it's $15 cheaper.

Also, pre-overclocked videocards are a waste of money. For less than that XFX 8800GT you could buy a 8800GTS (G92), and get far better performance.

I also highly recommend getting a 500GB Seagate 7200.11 drive.. The 32MB cache makes the extra $15 worth it in my opinion over a normal 500GB.

I highly recomend these parts for your build:

CPU
CPU Cooling Tower
RAM
Mobo
HDD
Video Card
Case (pick from any of these, you can choose how your computer looks (make sure you select best rating to sort the cases))
Power Supply
DVD Drive

Should run at or around $950, plus the cost of your case. This will also run EVERY GAME with the singular exception of Crysis MAXED at 1680x1050 or 1600x1200.
