Note: the prices of these items in the market are higher than in states and europe

Processor: Core 2 Duo E4500

Motherboard: Intel P35 - Gigabyte P35C-DS3R

Memory: Dual DDR2-800 - 2x 1024 MB DDR2-800

Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT 512 (but which Manufacturer should i go for, Gigabyte, XfX?)

Case : gigabyte

1.First Question : would these items runs appropriately in running games such crysis and so on .

2.second question : im not really sure wut is a cooler but im hearing alot and i would apreciate some1 giving me an idea of why i need it and what should i be looking for.

sounds good. could you be a bit more specific on the ram?

oh, and it doesn't really matter which manufacturer you choose - just go for one that has a bundle / warranty you like. Nice to see a Sudanese brother on the forums - i'm from southern Africa myself

this is the ram i'm settled with.. Dual DDR2-800 - 2x 1024 MB DDR2-800 - 2x 1GB A-Data DDR2-1066+ Vitesta

I just happen to face a problem cause the supplier was telling me i needed to get this gigabyte case for such graphic card and it needed it's own power supply , now here is the point where i have no info in, what exactly am i missing in terms of case power supply and that master cooler, do i really need an expensive power supply and a expensive case or can it run on any case...sorry that my questions sound very noob but im really a beginner lol

and i really appreciate the reply's

With that setup, u r gonna be ok man, just make sure u get an ATX case with enough size and a good airflow (if in the future u wanna change to a kickass GPU like the 9800GX2, u will have space). I case that u r gonna overclock ur CPU, I would reccomend the ZeroTHERM Nirvana NV120 CPU cooler

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...7011&Tpk=nv120

It's cheap, powerful and it will keep ur cpu very cold. And speaking of CPU's, i would reccomend u to get a Q6600. It costs about $250 dollars and if u overclock it to 3.2GHZ, it's gonna fly.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115017

For the RAM I would go for the Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory, it costs about $60 in newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146565

I would get the XFX 8800GT xxx edition, it's factory overclocked and it has a better cooling system, besides, it costs about $250.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150254

Maybe one single 500GB hard drive will eb enough for u. If u want to, u can get 2 500GB hard drives to get 1TB, but i don't think u will need that much.

One more thing, with that setup u r building, i would recocmend at least a 650W power supply unit. Visit www.newegg.com and check the power supply units they have.

So, this is the stup I would reccomend u, and it's not very expensive

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 $249.00
ZEROtherm Nirvana NV120 $50.00
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) $61.00
GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R LGA 775 $90.00
XFX PVT88PYDD4 GeForce 8800GT XXX 512MB $248.00
RAIDMAX AZTEC ATX-619WBP Black $85.00
Western Digital WD5000AAKS 500GB SATA $90.00
COOLER MASTER RS-650-ACAA-A1 ATX 650W PSU $130.00

Total: $1003.00 dollars

Check on newegg the components u r gonna buy.

That's a good build, but you're using the wrong components.

The RAM you linked has been having massive problems recently, people are reporting as high as 1 in 3 failure rates. It is caused by a change in how they manufacture the RAM, but I'm not going into details.

Why buy the boxed version of the Q6600 that includes a stock fan, when you go out and buy another one? Get the OEM version, it's $15 cheaper.

Also, pre-overclocked videocards are a waste of money. For less than that XFX 8800GT you could buy a 8800GTS (G92), and get far better performance.

I also highly recommend getting a 500GB Seagate 7200.11 drive.. The 32MB cache makes the extra $15 worth it in my opinion over a normal 500GB.

I highly recomend these parts for your build:

CPU
CPU Cooling Tower
RAM
Mobo
HDD
Video Card
Case (pick from any of these, you can choose how your computer looks (make sure you select best rating to sort the cases))
Power Supply
DVD Drive

Should run at or around $950, plus the cost of your case. This will also run EVERY GAME with the singular exception of Crysis MAXED at 1680x1050 or 1600x1200.

so i shouldnt go for this case "Gigabyte Gigabyte GZ-FSCA1-ANB 3D AURORA Series"

cause this is the available case in the market along with Aopen, the market over here is pretty limited in terms of gaming accessories .

and the shop im gonna a have to buy a 600w power supply with that configuration

and i appreciate ur replys

Umm, The components this guy chose are good but if i were you i'd get the 650W power supply unit, think about the future, if u upgrade ur pc to more powerful components someday (like videocards), u may need more energy, and if that 580W PSU doesn't provides u all the energy u need, then it means that u will have to buy a new power supply unit, so if i were u, i would get at least a 650W PSU (750W PSU reccomended if u will upgrade to high-end components in a future)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817171023

and, in many reviews, the Zerotherm nirvana completely kicked out the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7. So, I would still go for the ZeroTHERM Nirvana NV120

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Z...Premium/5.html

And about the video card, he's right, get the 8800gts (g92), but if u can pay for the overclocked version, then buy it.
I like these 2 models

To answer your question, my friend, it really doesn't matter too much what case you use, as long as it's what they call ATX (not mini or micro or such). All of the parts you're talking about will fit perfectly in any ATX case. What they call a Mid-Tower size should be totally sufficient for your needs.

Some cases come with power supplies installed, some do not. Sometimes these power supply's are identical to the power supplies (PSU's, we call them) the case and/or the PSU manufacturer sell separately (i.e. just the psu). These kind are *usually* pretty decent, depending on the brand. Some cases are sold however with really crappy PSU's that nobody would try to sell separately, cause they are just a marketing tool to try to sell a case, and usually only suitable for a very low end rig (if that).

Make sure the dealer will tell you the model number and maker of the PSU he's proposing for your case (if he is adding it himself), or if the PSU is included by the case manufacturer, look up the case on their website and see what you can find out about the PSU that they include. Then do some research on that particular PSU on the internet, look for reviews, ask us, etc. Your rig should do fine with any newer-model, name-brand decent-quality 500W PSU. 580W gives you a little room to grow/add parts in the future without a problem.

After-market coolers for CPU's are not usually necessary unless you are doing pretty extensive overclocking, or are really concerned about the cooling/noise ratio on your machine. 3.0GHz will probably be fine with a 'stock' (aka 'oem') cooler included with your intel processor.

I just looked up those Gigabyte cases, those are pretty nice ... more than what you *need* but you should be very happy with it. They don't come with a PSU though, so I guess the retailer is insisting on adding one? Well, tell him if he wants your business he must give you the list of all the PSU models he stocks, and that you want to pick which one you get with it based on YOUR needs not HIS. And then share the list with us, we'll try to help you pick.

...............

1GB of RAM on a 8800GTS is a complete waste of money for practical use. And the XFX card you linked was $30 more than the one I did, yet they run at the same speeds... Plus the one I linked runs at the same speed... Regardless, I would rather overclock a card myself and save $10-30 on the card.

Also, the Corsair PSU is rated at over 80% efficiency at 20%, 50%, and 100% load... The Corsair has 3 12+ V rails, while the Cooler Master simply has "yes" in that catorogry. Plus the cables aren't modular, forcing you to have 5-10 cables sitting around in your case. And for a computer that isn't going to be doing SLI, 520w is more than enough. But if you do want more juice, then the 650W variant of that PSU would work fine (if being pricey for the wattage). However, I find that the Corsair power supplies are exceptionally good, in line with PC Power and Cooling models...

And I picked a quick cooling tower, but the zero therm probably is better.
