Hunting Down an Ultra Mobile Turion Based Laptop - Page 2

Not trying to sound negative or anything, but I work in a big box store that sells a lot of hp laptops, and the majority of those tablet ones have come back defective. There was also a recall done on some of the 2000,6000 and 9000 series of hp turion based laptops. If you are going to insist on getting a turion laptop, I would probably stay away from hp.

Strange, I work in a UK PC store and We havent had hardly any of our HP Turion laptops come back faulty or with problems. Ill read into it a bit more, but maybe its a problem specific to US and canada

It could be, I actually have the recall notice from hp in my office, we are an official hp repair depot. Problems included: blank screen, not powering on, battery not charging, display intermitted, overheating etc.
