Ok, people fridge water cooling != fridge pc cooling.

He's using the fridge to cool the liquid, which won't be as hot as the ambient heat generated by the entire PC, so its not going to kill the fridge(at least not as fast as you people say). If water condenses so what? There aren't any electronic parts nearby so its not going to matter.

All this will do is drop the temp a few degrees, if at all, since the coolant is constantly moving.

Is it impractical? Yes. Is it going to blow up catastrophically? No.

psh, no such thing. Come to houston, THAT'S where you get humidity.

And he's cooling a large portion of coolant, so maybe it won't blow up. However, that's awfully low and probably is a good bit of heat for that compressor to handle, but if it does go kaboom, he'll have a warning because it will probably heat up first before the compressor gets a load it can't handle.
