We've been hearing random :turd: about the GT200 forever, when it comes out it's probably going to be an overclocked 8800GTS (just like the 9800GTX) with NOTHING new on it.

I thought that I read some where that Nvidia wasn't going to support DX 10.1 and they were just going to skip to DX 11. I could be wrong though.

You might be wrong, you might be right, no one knows. I doubt NVidia even knows.

What a success G80 was.... It is going to last a full 2 years at the top end. That is insane! Lets hope GT200 will be just as impressive, but hopefully ATI's new stuff will be good to keep Nvidia releasing new stuff.

From where did you get 4 ?

The memory speed is clocked 2 times higher, not 4 !!

Nvidia GT200 has 2200MHz effective speed, and RV770 has 4GHz effective speed

Effective speed is when the memory is running on dual channel mode. I'm pretty sure that memory speed 1100MHz that they mentioned is not speed in dual channel

Are you F****** serious? Wow, that's all I can say if this statement is true. I know someone will contest me, 55nm or not it's G92. Look at ATI's GPU, the 3870 is basically a 2900XT except with a die shrink. Almost performs the same as well.
Nope. The new R600 has more features than that.

It also has:
DirectX 10.1
Shader Model 4.1
UVD on die
PowerPlay on die
double-precision floating-point operations
