Maximus Formula NB Cooling

Thread Starter
Since oc'ing my Maximus Formula I've noticed a rise in NB temps, (I don't have the special eddition version) so I want to fit a small fan to try and keep those temps down. Is there any advice anyone can give me on how to do this or has this already been done, some pics would be helpful.

I had a Scythe S-Flex SFF21F laying around, and I kinda rigged it in by the top video card lol. It works tho, the way its angled blows the hot NB air towards the rear 120mm exhaust fan. It's about a 7-10c difference in temps.

Here's a pic...

Rev1, my MF also came with a fan but it's for mounting on the heatsink at the rear of the board, it's meant for use only when water or passive cooling. The Asus manual warns against using this fan with an air cooler as it can interfere with airflow.

Imprints suggestion of a spot cooler looks OK as a last resort (+rep) but i was looking more towards a fan fitted over the fins of the NB cooler, something that looks neat and tidy (I hate a cluttered case). However, the Antec cooler suggested by jrs2008 looks pretty cool (+rep) I might try one of these if I can't find anything to fit directly to the NB cooler.

Thanks guys.
