You make it sound like you have outsourced the production of the case. Someone manufactures the parts and you then assemble them. Am I right?

@darin nope! i fully scratch build the only thing that is outsourced is the powdercoating and anodising as i dont have a heated room or a vat of acid

@max302 thankyou very much

@syrillian thankyou! i will be making one of them if not both of them in the summer as a prototype. unless someone wants to buy one.

any more opinions etc?
post #18 of 20
Hrm.

I like the looks of them.

They are awfully big in my mind though. My math has the tower at a full 8 inches taller and over 3 inches deeper than the TJ07. (29.3 x 25.4 x 8.7). The cube looks to be nearly 2 inches taller and wider and pushing 4 inches deeper than a Mountain Mod UFO. (19.7 x 19.7 x 21.7).

That's a bit too big for my tastes, but take that for what its worth. (my tastes)

Do you have any more details as far as the overall construction? I'm assuming aluminum? Brushed? Using an internal frame? ... or more of a conventional riveted unibody-style construction?

Yes you are right these are very big cases....

and they will be aluminium the anodised options will be brushed and i am also undecided as to wether to use an internal frame or not on the tower the cube will probably be a frame.

i am going to try and design some smaller maybe midi towers that can hopefully house a tripple rad if it can be done i will do it! and i will upload the picture of my latest huge cube when i finish it.
