Abit IP35-Pro Bios 16

Thread Starter
My question is this,

I upgrade from Bios 14 to 16 today, and with I got more stability as it seems with my q6600.

However I also noticed a serious change in cpu temp.

From idle 39C working at 100% 55C to, system 26-29C PWN 43.
idle 65C working at 100% 65C system 26-27C PWN 43.

Bios Clocking, and Electricity remains exacly the same.

Anyone any ideas ?
Whatever

Yeah its a known problem with past and present bios's. The boards temp sensor doesnt read the cpu correctly. Coretemp should still give you a accurate temp reading. Just ignore the temp in bios and via uguru for the cpu. Also you may wanna uncheck the shutdown pc thing for your temp monitoring in bios because the 75c threshold is easy to reach when your temps arent being read correctly.

Other then that this bios is much better for the quads then the older ones. Should help with the vdroop a little also.
