Guys reccomend a good fan contoller?!?! - Page 2

I may try that 5.25" Sunbeam Rheobus Fan Speed Controller from petra's. I have this ZALMAN MFC1 Plus-B Black 6 Channel Multi Fan Controller. First one fried in my case and starting smoking. The new one the led's went out on two channels and the back plugs are different from the first one I had. I only need to power 4 fans now so I'm gonna try this one and RMA the Zalman back to Newegg.

This is the one I have.

Depends on the fans. 10 Watts delivers only .83 amps at 12 V. The medium speed Yate Loons draw .3 amps, so you couldn't get more than two per channel without under volting.

Heh. That is the Sunbeam controller just almost double the price..

I second the Rheobus(got one). It's a excellent controller from what I can tell.
